Steve joined the firm in 1985 and was admitted as a partner in 1986. He is a trusted advisor to many of our clients, across a wide range of industries. Clients rely on his experience in the following areas of concentration:
- Businesses, closely held family businesses with revenues from 5 to 50 million and high net worth individuals
- Provides sound advice and sophisticated tax strategies.
- Responsible for our Dental CPA Group which handles business advisory, accounting, tax strategy and financial performance analysis services for over 80 businesses.
- Coaches owners to understand the financial health of their businesses and how it compares to industry benchmarks.
- Empowers our clients to ascend beyond their goals.
Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant designations. He is a member of the AICPA, FICPA and is a former Church trustee/elder and past treasurer for Jacksonville Beach Pop Warner.
An avid outdoorsman, Steve has a passion for competitive tournament fishing. He also loves spending time with family and friends, motorcycling and target shooting.
